Shop & Robux Guide

Build and Defend Your Raft sells no gamepasses — its entire Robux store is resource bundles plus a code redemption box. Prices below were verified in-game shortly after launch; the dev patches weekly, so treat this page as a snapshot (updated September 3, 2026).

The current shop inventory

Item Price Contents Worth it?
Starter Pack ~18 Robux 50 wood + 50 iron The only bundle the community calls cheap — it roughly doubles a new player’s starting materials for pocket change
150 Wood 90 Robux 150 wood Poor value; the same 90 Robux buys five Starter Packs’ worth of wood elsewhere. One streamer’s verdict: “what a value deal” — sarcastically
50 Metal Price not shown at capture 50 metal situational — metal is the real bottleneck for cannons, so this bundle is the only “skip the grind” button that matters

Reading the store correctly

  • Wood is the easy resource — nets, islands and patience print it. Never buy wood at premium bundle prices.
  • Metal is the hard resource — barrels are the only passive source and the raft weapons upgrade eats 110 at a time. If you ever buy anything, it’s metal, right before a big cannon push.
  • Gold is not sold — consistent with the dev calling it “for something in the future.” If a gold bundle appears in the shop, that’s your heads-up that a gold update is close.

## The code redemption box

The Shop is also where promo codes will land: open the Shop, find the redeem box, and type the code exactly. Right now the box has nothing to accept — the game has never released a code (verified against the official Discord’s empty #codes channel). When the first drop happens, it’ll be on the codes page the same day.

Is the Starter Pack pay-to-win?

No — and the reason is structural. Everything the shop sells can be farmed in minutes once raft upgrades and nets are running. What Robux actually buys is the first hour: skipping the slowest stretch of the early game. After that, a raft with three crew members and three nets out-earns any bundle in the store.
